Refurbishment

Refurbishment is the process of maintenance or major repair of an item, either aesthetically, cosmetically or mechanically.

In many critical applications, commonly found in high-tech industries, the quality of equipment components is critical in the consistent high quality of the finished products and operation.  Components with scratches, dents or other forms of damage will affect the performance of the equipment.  UMS refurbishment programs offer equipment owners another option as an alternative to replacing the component with a new one from the original equipment manufacturer.
